  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 1 egg large
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Equipment

  • 1 large baking sheet

Method

  1. Heat the oven to 350°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, stir the Nutella and egg until smooth.
  3. Stir in the flour just until combined.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheet.
  6. Flatten each slightly and space them at least 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake in batches for 9 to 11 minutes, until the edges are set and the centers still look soft.
  8. Let the baking sheet cool completely between batches.
  9. Let the cookies rest on the baking sheet for 5 minutes.
  10. Transfer them to a wire rack to cool.

Notes

For soft centers, take the cookies out when the edges are set and the centers still look soft. Store airtight in the refrigerator for up to 5 days; freezer-friendly for up to 2 months. For a dairy-free variation, use a dairy-free chocolate hazelnut spread and dairy-free chocolate chips.
