Ingredients

For the orange glaze
  • 0.5 cup orange juice
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
For the salmon
  • 4 salmon fillets 6-ounce, skin-on

Equipment

  • 1 9x13-inch baking dish

Method

Make the orange glaze
  1. Whisk the orange juice, honey, and soy sauce together in a small saucepan.
  2. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 6–9 minutes, stirring occasionally, until reduced to about 1/3 cup and thick enough to coat a spoon.
Bake the salmon
  1. Heat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  3. Arrange the salmon skin-side down in the dish and brush the glaze over the tops of the fillets.
  4. Bake for 10–15 minutes, until the thickest part of each fillet reaches 145°F.

Notes

For the best glaze coverage, reduce it until it thickly coats a spoon. Refrigerate leftovers for up to 3 days; freeze for up to 2 months. For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free tamari instead of soy sauce.
