Ingredients

For the cheese ball
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese softened
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar
  • 0.25 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
For the serving board
  • 1 box (14.4 oz) graham crackers

Equipment

  • 1 hand mixer

Method

Make the cheese ball
  1. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter with a hand mixer until smooth.
  2. Beat in the powdered sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt until evenly combined.
  3. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  4. Spoon the mixture onto a large piece of plastic wrap, wrap it up, and shape it into a ball; refrigerate for at least 2 hours, until firm.
Serve
  1. Unwrap the cheese ball and serve with the graham crackers.

Notes

For the neatest shape, wrap the mixture tightly before shaping it. Refrigerate leftovers for up to 4 days; freezing is not recommended because it can affect the texture. Use gluten-free graham crackers for a gluten-free serving.
