Ingredients

For the grahams
  • 12 sheets graham crackers full, broken in half along the perforations (24 pieces)
  • 16 oz semisweet chocolate chips
For the topping
  • 2 peppermint candy canes finely crushed

Equipment

  • 1 large baking sheet

Method

Prepare the grahams
  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange the graham cracker pieces in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Put the crushed candy canes in a small bowl.
Melt the chocolate
  1. Place the chocolate chips in a medium microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each, until smooth, about 1 1/2 to 2 minutes.
Dip and decorate
  1. Dip each graham cracker piece halfway into the melted chocolate and let the excess drip back into the bowl.
  2. Place each dipped graham cracker piece on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Sprinkle the chocolate with crushed candy cane before it sets.
  4. Refrigerate the grahams for 20 to 30 minutes, until the chocolate is firm.

Notes

For neat toppings, sprinkle the crushed candy cane over the chocolate before it sets. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days; freezer-friendly. For a dairy-free option, use dairy-free chocolate chips and dairy-free graham crackers.
